Advice needed please :-(?

ok so I live in America, and my girlfriend currently goes to college in Ukraine. Not a big problem, i thought i would be seeing her quite a few times throughout the year... WRONG!!! i was just put on probation for getting into a fight for one year...meaning i cant leave the country. how can i make this survive a year without seeing her. she is convinced it will work out, we are deeply in love... how can this last? suggestions?
