What does it mean when a girl says "Im not looking for a relationship"?

I've been texting this girl for a month. She is shy, but really opened up to me, and has never dated anyone before. She is home schooled and we are both devout christians. I asked her out and she said that she "wasn't looking for a relationship. Just good friends" I responded with "okay :) so what have you been doing today" and for the rest of the day we just had a normal conversations. I can't tell if she doesn't like me or she really isn't interested in a relationship, and I don't know what to do now.
