Yes. The Catechism also says the same thing about Protestants and Jews. It doesn't actually state that all members of these groups ARE "saved", just that they might be. Of course, Catholics believe that the salvific grace available to Muslims and Jews comes from Jesus Christ, through the medium of the Church.
