Whats the difference between a break up and a separation?

He's broken up with you. He wants the freedom to date other girls in college, it's understandable. Don't hold out hope that you will ever get back together, ume that it's over for good. Don't have with him either. He's not your boyfriend anymore. He's toying with your emotions to get one last roll in the hay before he leaves.
